What is CBD?
Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of the 60+ phytocannabinoids from cannabis plants, including hemp and marijuana.
Unlike THC, it is non-psychoactive, so it’s non-intoxicating. However, researchers have observed that it may provide a variety of properties many might consider beneficial.
These properties play heavily into how CBD can make a person feel. By getting relief from certain symptoms, they’re able to have a better quality of life overall.
How Does CBD Make You Feel?
Before we continue, it’s important to express that everyone is different. Cannabinoids may affect you differently than someone else, providing less or more intense effects. Likewise, it does take time to feel the effects of CBD. People that report not feeling any benefits or changes from a cannabidiol regimen may not have taken it for a long enough period of time. This is because CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system in the body the same way the endocannabinoid compounds we naturally produce do. The endocannabinoid system, or ECS, is what helps the body achieve and maintain homeostasis. The question, how will CBD make me feel? becomes more than just what you feel. It becomes about the absence of what wasn’t making you feel good. Cannabidiol’s ability to stimulate relief for certain types of pain, anxiety, depression, inflammation, nausea, insomnia, and so many other properties means it can make more users “feel” better than ever.
